Help Us Support Tia’s Medical Journey
As many of you know, our brave girl Tia has been through so much in such a short time. On June 3rd, she had two heart stents placed, and just a few weeks later, on July 10th, we were given another tough diagnosis — Fontan-associated liver disease. This condition is a result of her complex heart history, and it now affects her liver as well.
On October 4th and 5th, we have to travel to Arthur M. Blank Children’s Hospital where Tia will undergo a cardiac MRI and a liver elastography to assess the extent of the liver damage. Her appointment on October 5th is scheduled for 6:30 AM, which means we will need to stay overnight nearby to make sure she gets the care she needs without added stress.
We’re asking for help raising $500 to cover the cost of a safe and nearby motel stay for two nights, gas, and dinner those nights. Every dollar goes directly to helping us stay close to the hospital and give Tia the comfort and rest she needs for these very important appointments.
If you’re not able to give, sharing this post means the world to us. We believe in the power of community and faith, and we are so grateful for any help, big or small.
Thank you for standing with us through this journey
