My name is Oleksandr (Alex), and I am the brother of a man who desperately needs help.
For almost two years, my brother and his family have been fighting a devastating battle. He was diagnosed with glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. Since that moment, our entire family has been doing everything possible to keep him alive.
My brother is not only a patient. He is a father to a 12-year-old boy who needs his dad.
For nearly two years, his wife has been by his side through every hospital visit, every treatment, and every painful moment, doing everything she could to save the father of their child.
But recently, the unimaginable happened.
After living under constant stress and emotional exhaustion for so long, she suffered a stroke.
Now their 12-year-old son is seeing both of his parents struggle for their lives at the same time. This is something no child should ever have to experience.
For nearly two years the family has done everything possible to continue treatment. They have already spent all their savings and used every resource they had trying to keep him alive and fight this disease.
Recently, a new vaccine treatment has appeared that may help slow the spread of the disease and give my brother more years of life with his family. For patients with glioblastoma, this has become a rare new hope.
Unfortunately, after almost two years of constant medical expenses, the family no longer has the financial ability to pursue this treatment on their own.
That is why I am asking for help. We are raising part of the funds needed for this treatment here, while continuing to work on covering the remaining amount through other means.
Every donation will go toward:
- producing and administering the treatment for my brother
- ongoing medical treatment for my brother’s brain cancer
- medical care and rehabilitation after his wife’s stroke
Even the smallest contribution can make a difference.
If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this campaign so that more people can see their story.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Alex
