Stand with The Zen Den: Fight for Justice

Donation protected
For 14 years, my husband, a true Clemson grad, local and dedicated entrepreneur—poured his heart and soul into The Zen Den on 356 College Ave in Downtown Clemson. It was more than a bar; it was a safe, local gathering spot known for its top-notch craft beer, wine selection, and commitment to providing 100% compliant, legal hemp products to the community.

Charlie was dedicated to being the most responsible, transparent source in town, ensuring every product met legal standards (under the 0.3% Delta-9 THC limit).

The Day Everything Changed:

On November 12, 2025 without warning, SLED agents raided The Zen Den. In a matter of hours, our 14-year business was forcibly closed, and they seized over $10,000 worth of verified, lab-tested, legal inventory.

This devastating action has not only destroyed a local landmark but has also plunged our entire family into an immediate financial crisis.

We are suddenly navigating a brutal legal fight to recover what was rightfully ours.

The Financial Triple Threat We Face:

Our family is facing an impossible situation:

-Lost Livelihood: The business that paid our bills is gone. We are still liable for final closure costs, vendor payments, and outstanding rent.

-Legal Defense: We must hire specialized legal counsel immediately to fight the unlawful seizure of the $10,000 inventory and challenge the closure.

-Family Survival: Ingrid was recently laid off from her corporate job in June and is now the sole earner, working tirelessly to launch her new business, Rest Assured Life Group.

***Help Us Fight Back***
If you ever enjoyed a beer at The Zen Den, appreciated our commitment to local craft products, or simply believe that small business owners deserve due process, please consider donating.

We are asking our Clemson/Pendleton/Occonne/Pickens/New York community to stand with The Zen Den!
—the most local business in town—in this fight for our family and against this unjust loss.

Please donate if you’re able and SHARE this campaign widely!

Thank you for helping us stand strong during this nightmare.

— Thank you on behalf of the Zen Den Family
