Stand With The Voelker Family During Tough Times

Hi, my name is Mary Tallent. Over the past two years, I've had the opportunity to become incredibly close with the Voelker family. Cat, the oldest daughter, has been a part of my color guard team during this time. Learning about the challenges this family has faced, especially after losing their father in a motorcycle accident a few years ago, has deeply impacted me. Since then, I've tried to support them in various ways—whether it's covering meals, picking up Sarah's daughters, or providing gas money for Sarah. Sarah, the girls' mother, has had kidney issues that prevent her from working, adding to their financial issues despite government assistance. They often rely on the kindness of others to make ends meet. Recently, Sarah had emergency surgery due to an infected dialysis port, and she'll be on a wound vac for the next few months. This unexpected medical situation has brought additional financial burdens. This family means a lot to me, and I would love to extend more help and kindness to them during this challenging time.
