Stand with the Swains in Their Time of Need

If you know the Swains, you love them. If you don't know them, allow me to explain how they ended up in a situation:
In a universe which loves irony, Derick and Joleene were participating in a charity motorcycle ride benefiting another rider who was recently hit by a car. They were providing intersection awareness for the group, turned to rejoin the pack after a sudden change in the route, and fell victim to AZDOT's uncharacteristic highway repair (freshly resurfaced blacktop). Their bike went out from under them, and both sustained significant, mobility-restricting injuries (broken ribs, fractured vertebrae and pelvises, etc). Derick is a student at the Motorcycle Maintenance Institute, and both work for a Harley-Davidson dealer (shout-out to Arrowhead Harley-Davidson and Road Runner Harley-Davidson for securing their employment while they recover!). They have two children at home, and another two coming to visit for the summer. Between the unknown medical expenses coming down the pipe and the unexpected loss of BOTH income streams, PLUS added needs for caring for their kiddos while not being able to walk, if anyone could use a well-deserved helping hand, I can't think of a more compelling situation. I set a very conservative initial goal because we don't know yet how much insurance is going to cover, but with a LifeFlight trip and pelvic surgery, plus the rehabilitation and physical therapy that'll be coming, I'm sure I'll have to adjust it later. On behalf of the Swains, thank you so much for hearing their situation out and for your kind generosity!
