At just 40 years old, Jesse, a devoted father of two young children, is fighting a courageous battle against ALS. His daughter, Eloise, is headed for middle school next year, and son, Wesley, is finishing second grade and is excited as ever for summer break. However, this summer will be different for them. Their hearts heavy with concern for their father's health, their usual excitement is mixed with worry and uncertainty.

Their mother, Diana, a dedicated middle school teacher, has made the difficult decision to take a leave from work to care for her husband. The financial strain and emotional toll of 24/7 caregiving weigh heavily on her shoulders as she navigates this new reality with grace and resilience.
