Stand with the Stiles: Cancer Care Support

My whole life, my mother has taken care of everyone she knows (as many of you know her and have grown to fall in love with her). Now, it’s our turn to take care of her. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and needs the works. She is starting treatment on March 19th and will need multiple rounds of chemo, immunotherapy, surgery, and a ton of doctor's appointments in between. And who knows where the road will lead after all of that.

As my mom goes through chemo, she will not be able to be around many people because she cannot pick up a cold or virus and won’t be feeling the greatest. Therefore, she can’t work. Although my brothers and I will be helping her as much as we can, bills are already piling up, and it’s more than one can handle. With her treatment starting in a few short days, I really want her to go into this with a clear head, so she can concentrate on getting better and beating this. It’s going to be a long year ahead. Not having to worry about bills and medical bills is all that I wish for her as she starts this journey.
