Stand With The Rolfs: Support LJ's Battle and Journey Ahead

On 8/23, LJ was diagnosed with a brain tumor. From diagnosis, everything moved fast. He was immediately transferred, admitted, and had his first surgery to relieve pressure the tumor was causing on his brain. Three days later, he underwent surgery yet again to remove as much of the tumor as possible.

Our prayers were answered when LJ’s surgery was successful and doctors were satisfied with their margins. Our prayers were answered yet again after surgery when LJ showed his resilience by talking, walking with help, using his arms and all of those fingers and toes!

While he has a long road of recovery ahead, and there are still many unknowns, doctors are amazed by his resilience and are confidently putting together a game plan to keep LJ healthy and happy.

Olivia and Lamar have been incredibly strong and shown their own resilience going though something no parent ever wants to imagine. They have not left LJ’s side.

Now, as friends and family, it is our turn to not leave theirs. I pray we can surround them with support, love, and continued prayers for the steps ahead.
