Hello Everyone,

Our names are Amanda Laufer and Lorna Ince and we are teachers at Imagine Charter School at Weston. We are reaching out to our school community to support a wonderful family currently facing a difficult period. The Rios family has been an integral part of our school community, and now they need our help. They are dealing with significant medical challenges as their father, Albino, battles a serious health condition and is unable to work. As they navigate through these tough times, they need our collective support and compassion more than ever.

About the Rios Family:

The Rios family has been cherished members of our Imagine Weston community since 2020. Their children, George and Angel, shine brightly within our school, George excelling in 4th grade at age 10, while Angel, just 6, completes kindergarten with joy and determination. Despite facing challenges at home, their resilience and dedication to their studies inspire us all.

Diana and Albino, the devoted parents, embody the spirit of our school community. They generously volunteer their time, supporting our activities with unwavering commitment. Their active involvement in their children's education and sports not only reflects in their academic achievements but also in the values they instill. Their integrity, kindness, and respect uplift us all.

However, recent news has cast a shadow over their lives. Albino's diagnosis of stage four prostate cancer, with its devastating spread, has left the family facing unimaginable struggles. His ongoing medical treatments have placed a heavy burden on their finances, while Diana, a pillar of strength, juggles caregiving with the demands of running their household, all without the support of nearby family.

In this time of hardship, the Rios family turns to our school community for support. Your contributions, whether in the form of donations, prayers, or simply spreading the word, will provide much-needed relief during this trying period. La familia Ríos ha sido miembro apreciado de nuestra comunidad de Imagine desde 2020.
