Stand with the Pollestad Family in Need

Donation protected
First and foremost, the Pollestad and Droske families have been so grateful for your love, support, prayers, and kindness. The community surrounding Erin, Jeremy, Avery, and Finn has been nothing short of incredible. We can't thank you enough.

We're still processing all that has happened in the last two days, and we have many unanswered questions at this point, but we know many of you have questions, so we'll do our best to share what has happened in the last two days and what we know so far on Jeremy's CaringBridge Page.

What we know so far is that Jeremy has two tumors in his brain--one the size of about a baseball and one the size of a thimble. We know that brain surgery and follow-up cancer treatment are highly likely to be in Jeremy's future.

We'll do our very best to keep all of you updated on progress, plans, and more. We've gotten a lot of questions on how you can help the Pollestads, and here are a few ideas for you:

1) Meal Train: Erin's dear friend Sara has started a meal train for the family. There will need to be a lot of friends and family who will need to chip in to make sure the kids are making it to school, hockey, robotics, one-act play, etc., and ensuring those caretakers don't have to worry about feeding the kids is incredibly helpful. The link to the meal train is below.

2) GoFundMe. As with many who have faced such a diagnosis before us and many who will face it after, the fears for Jeremy's health are accompanied by financial fears. Jeremy is not going to be able to work for a while, and Erin has also had to take unpaid leave while they navigate the treatment plan and upcoming brain surgery. This is all before the medical bills that are insurance overages come in.

3) Praying to whatever God you believe in. Praying for healing, for peace, for the ability to focus strictly on getting Jeremy better. Praying for the family and friends who are supporting them throughout this journey to be the support they need at this time.

4) Leaving a message of hope and care below. There are going to be some difficult days ahead, and they will need a place to turn to remind them of the community and love that are surrounding them.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you've done already in this short amount of time for my brother-in-law, sister, and precious niece and nephew. We'll do our best to keep you updated.
