Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We come to you today with open hands and open hearts. After a season of challenge and perseverance, we are asking for your support as we navigate an especially difficult transition for our family.

My husband, Matthew, a proud Marine veteran and brother of the Emmaus community, has spent his life working hard, leading with integrity, and providing for our family of five. Despite multiple high-level business degrees and years of executive experience, the instability of the market and repeated company cash flow issues have left us in a vulnerable position — one we never anticipated but are trusting God through.

Over the past year and a half, we've relocated across the country for opportunity after opportunity, only to face sudden layoffs and organizational changes that eliminated roles like Matthew’s.

Adding to the urgency, our lease is up in a couple weeks, and the landlord is selling the property. With no steady income on paper, securing a new home for our family has become almost impossible — despite Matthew's actively searching and applying for supplemental employment.

Our family is no stranger to hardship: I am disabled and unable to work outside the home, though I continue to homeschool our three young children. We've weathered storms before, but this particular season has tested us deeply.

At the Emmaus retreat, the brothers were warned that the enemy would intensify his attacks as they leaned into the Cross. We have seen this unfold in real time — losing job security, housing stability, and enduring relational hardships all in the months following. Yet even now, we choose to believe in God's provision and the goodness of His people.

If you feel led to give, your support would help us cover transitional housing costs and basic living expenses as we work to rebuild on steadier ground. Above all, we ask for your prayers — for a breakthrough, for steadfastness, and for renewed strength in this valley.

The Funds will be used to secure new housing and to pay any bills to hold us over until Matthew has secured a new job.
