Vincent Corleone, a fearless 15-year-old, has boldly gone where no one wants to go on a mysterious health adventure called Bone Marrow failure since March 3rd, 2025.
Our soccer community has always been more than just a team- we’re a family! And right now, one of our very special families needs our love and support more than ever.
The Corleone Family has been a part of our club for MANY years- always the first to volunteer, cheer others on, and give more than they ever take. Now, it’s our turn to stand by them.
Their dad, Chris, is bravely battling ALS, and earlier this year, their 15-year-old son, Vincent, was diagnosed with bone marrow failure. He has been receiving treatment at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida since March. Thankfully, his older brother, Michael, was a perfect bone marrow match, offering hope and healing- but Vincent must remain in Gainesville for several more months while he continues treatment and recovery at the Ronald McDonald House.
Their mom, Maiko, has been by Vincent’s side every step of the way in Gainesville, while their dad and siblings remain in Pensacola- managing school, medical care, and life apart. To add to their challenges, their daughter, Sabrina, recently suffered a torn ACL and required surgery. This is her senior year and her last season to play high school soccer.
The Corleone Family is facing unimaginable hardship- medical bills, travel expenses, and the strain of living in two cities. Through it all, they continue to show strength, grace, and love.
We’re raising funds to help ease their burden- to help with medical costs, travel expenses, and the daily costs of keeping two households running while they focus on what matters most: healing and family.
