Help a Loving Family Stay Afloat During a Financial Crisis

Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are the Blakely family—a strong, loving household of six: two girls, two boys, a hardworking father, and a devoted stay-at-home mother. For the past two years, I’ve had the blessing of staying home to care for our two-year-old daughter and manage the home—cooking, cleaning, nurturing, and keeping everything running smoothly while my husband works full-time for the city.

Unfortunately, we now find ourselves facing a serious financial crisis that threatens the stability and comfort of our home.

My husband has endured years of emotional and narcissistic abuse and financial hardship due to ongoing high conflict with his ex, the mother of his two older children. He has been a victim of narcissistic abuse—and facing constant false allegations, harassment, defamation, and manipulation that not only deeply affect him but also our children and me as his wife. Despite the many closed CPS investigations that his ex has filed, showing no evidence of any abuse or harm, the emotional toll continues.

In 2024, my husband’s ex went on maternity leave—for a child that is not his—but failed to report her full return to work in March 2025. Child support was still calculated based on her limited maternity leave income, resulting in an outrageous $2,400/month support order, simply unjust as it did not involve our family. We’ve tried everything—filing multiple ex parte requests to modify this unsustainable amount, but were denied, our evidence was not enough according to the courts. He was told to file a regular motion instead, with a court date not until July 1, 2025.

We are in crisis now and cannot wait that long.

With court filing fees, lost wages from repeated hearings, and a recent rent increase to $2,400/month, we are completely overwhelmed. As of today, our bank account is negative due to bills on autopay, and we are out of options. My husband’s paycheck, after garnishment, leaves nothing for rent, utilities, food, or our car payment.

We’re humbly asking for help to cover two months of rent while we fight for a fair child support order. This isn’t just about money—it’s about protecting our family, maintaining our stability, and standing up against a broken system that too often fails loving, involved fathers.

We know times are hard for everyone, and we are doing everything we can—including me searching for work—but childcare costs would wipe out any income I bring in.
