Help my uncle Fred in the ICU

Donation protected
Hello, my name is George Angus II. A former RRHS MCJROTC Cadet and RRHS graduate class of 2024 and I am asking for your help in assisting my uncle, Fred Angus. On behalf of me, my father (Fred’s brother), my mother and my grandmother (Fred’s mother) to help assist us with the toll of medical bills that have fallen upon us. My uncle Fred is a type 2 diabetic and unfortunately was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Baylor Scott & White hospital in Round Rock twice within a 3 week span with life threatening symptoms due to diabetic issues that have caused his lungs, legs and more areas to swell up with excessive amounts of pus and or fluids. Due to these symptoms, he has been placed on a ventilator and is under constant monitoring and in a coma-like state as of 02/21/2025. He is uninsured medically and is unemployed due to recent personal events before these medical emergencies. We, the Angus family, need your help in assisting my uncle Fred, in getting him the medical treatment he needs. We cannot afford his massive and growing medical bills that have fallen onto our shoulders suddenly. A person should never call 911 in the event of an emergency as no one should ever experience the traumatic frantic calls and response that come with a medical emergency especially to someone who you know and deeply care about. If you are willing to donate to help my uncle, Fred in lowering his massive medical debts and help win his fight with medical issues, please do so, we are extremely grateful and appreciative with the grace of God to have people who are there to help. Funds donated to my uncle Fred will immediately go to lowering medical bills/cost, rehabilitation, medical expenses for equipment he will require at home once discharged and more medical miscellaneous stuff he will need later down the line of his recovery. Thank you so much for giving us a few minutes of your valuable time to hear my uncle’s story. God bless you, our local first responders for assisting and God bless America.

***UPDATE*** 2/23/25

My uncle Fred is now fully awake and is in stable condition. He can talk and drink but cannot move much due to fatigue and being bedridden. He has been placed on a liquid diet. He has been removed from a ventilator and has been placed on a CPAP machine until further notice. Unfortunately he shows signs of confusion as he sometimes is unaware of where is currently is, or the people who are with him in his hospital room. We, the Angus family, thank you for all the support, prayers and wishes from the community.

***UPDATE*** 2/26/25

My uncle Fred has been discharged from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and moved into a normal hospital room. He is now off a CPAP machine and is now on a normal oxygen tank until further notice. Baylor Scott & White is attempting to discharge him by Friday 2/28. But unfortunately we still do not have the necessary medical equipment and supplies and cannot house and care for him without it. This medical equipment is extremely expensive and we need your help to be able to afford it. Thank you for all the donations and support from the community. God bless you and America.
