The Alvarez family are facing the unimaginable loss of their beloved son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and husband, Victorino Alvarez (Nen). Nen was a devoted family man, a steady presence, and the heart of his home. Humble, kind man and romantic.

Nen always worried about others, about their problems, before his own. Always helpful and supportive to the family and any needs. Now, we have an opportunity to reflect the love and support Nen gave so freely by showing up for his family.

Your contribution will go directly toward helping the Alvarez as they navigate this heartbreaking and unexpected loss. Any amount, big or small, will make a meaningful impact — giving them space to grieve, heal, and move forward. As well as supporting bringing my uncle’s body to his lovely land - Dominican Republic.

I (Pamela Martich Alvarez) am Nen’s niece, and I’ve set up this fundraiser on behalf of my cousins, Nideisy, Anny, Andreina, Yineicri, Nivelsy, Cristian and Patricia. All donations will go to support the Alvarez family during this incredibly difficult time.

La familia Álvarez se enfrenta a la pérdida inimaginable de su querido hijo, hermano, tío, padre, abuelo y esposo, Victorino Álvarez (Nen). Nen era un hombre de familia devoto, una presencia constante y el corazón de su hogar. Hombre humilde, amable y romántico.

Nen siempre se preocupaba por los demás, por sus problemas, antes que por los suyos propios. Siempre servicial y de apoyo a la familia y a cualquier necesidad. Ahora, tenemos la oportunidad de reflejar el amor y el apoyo que Nen dio tan libremente al presentarse para su familia.

Su contribución irá directamente a ayudar a los Álvarez mientras navegan por esta pérdida desgarradora e inesperada. Cualquier cantidad, grande o pequeña, tendrá un impacto significativo, dándoles espacio para llorar, sanar y avanzar. Así como apoyar llevar el cuerpo de mi tío a su encantadora tierra: la República Dominicana.
