My son Tez was involved in a serious incident this past week and is currently in the ICU, fighting through something no child should ever have to face. These days have been filled with fear, hope, and exhaustion, and I am doing everything I can to stay strong for him. Right now, my only priority is being by his side as he recovers, which means I’m not able to start my new job at this moment.

What makes this even harder is that our insurance coverage ended on 10/31 after my unexpected job loss, leaving us unprotected during one of the most difficult moments of our lives.
