Stand with Terry and her family in their fight against IBC.

My name is Terry and I was diagnosed with rare Inflammatory Breast Cancer around 4/30/2024. I was, therefore, let go from my job and we have been living on one income since. My kids and husband have been warriors throughout this journey and have sacrificed a lot for us to get to where we're at on one income today, which I'm sure everyone knows is almost impossible in today's world living normal healthy lives.

I am on a very aggressive treatment plan that will continue for a minimum of 5 years. No one realizes that the treatment itself causes other health issues on top of it. I have a long list of specialists I see and every day is all about Dr's, bills, Dr. bills, fighting insurance, and fighting cancer for us and me staying as healthy as I can. We have been tested to the fullest and our lives have been put on hold and flipped upside down this past year.

Needless to say, here I am setting up a GoFundMe for my family and myself. Something I never thought I would do. I am never one to ask for help and if you know me, I'm the one who'd take the shirt off my back for anyone. It's taken a lot for me to put my pride aside and do this.

Treatment hasn't stopped but I'm through what I think is the worst of it and my hair is slowly coming back in. I think that most people see me gradually gaining color, hair, and looking more healthy they feel I am "healed" which is far from the truth. Appointments continue and bills are stacking up more now than before. Any small donation would be helpful and appreciated. It makes me think of that saying that says, "It takes a Village"... that's no lie.

Currently, I have finished 4 rounds of Red Devil, 11 rounds of Taxol, made it through a mastectomy with lymph node removal and re-routed reconstruction. I finished 36 rounds of radiation and made it through the torturous burns. I am now trying to adjust and battle through the two chemo pills I have to take twice a day. The struggle is real trying to "live" the best life you can when you feel you can't get out of bed on the daily. IBC is not curable though they're working on that.

This horrible cancer is unfortunately a life long disease but for right now we just need help catching up with the stack of bills that is continuously pilling up and being sent to collections. If you can't donate just a little please pass the message along to share so maybe others can.

God Bless Everyone and Thank you!
