My name is Terri. I am asking for donations to help me be able to miss work to care for my mom. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She beat breast cancer 3 years ago, but now it is back and has spread to her lungs and abdomen. There is also a mass in her that has caused massive swelling, and she can't use her arm anymore because of the pain and swelling. I am her only child. My dad is older and can't hear or understand things well. I need to be able to drive her to appointments, surgeries, and chemo treatments. I want to be there for her as much as possible. Unfortunately, I do not have enough PTO with my job or enough savings to cover the time I will need off work to care for her. I have never done anything like this before and never thought I'd ask people for money. But here I am, desperate to find a way to be able to take care of mom through this battle.
