This is Tamara Tarakanova, she is an immigrant from Ukraine, she fled to the United States with the hopes of surviving in a country that would give her the opportunities to gain employment, start a family, and make a difference in this world. Since arriving in the United States Tamara and her husband (also an immigrant from Ukraine) have been staying with a family to help gain employment. Toma is a very intelligent woman who gained 3 degrees in her country. Unfortunately those degrees don’t coincide with degrees in the US therefore she has been working 2 jobs as a server at a restaurant, and as a sterile processing technician, where she gained her certification against all odds with a language barrier. Since entering the medical work force Tamara has excelled in every aspect of her job requirements. She’s an asset in the workforce, and an asset to this country. She’s puts others needs before her own. She was nominated employee of the quarter, out of 45 employees, for her outstanding efforts and overachievements. Tamara and her husband unfortunately lost their EAD due to the negligence of the government department which issues the reinstatements. As of right now, Tamara and her husband are unemployed and in desperate need of a reputable lawyer and the safety of currency to get them through this. I’m speaking for 1 of 46 co workers of hers that will stand with her every minute of the day to secure her safety in the US.
