Helping Andy in his Health Battle

To my friends and former colleagues…

Life changing circumstances have collided in our family as Andrew Barber aka (Andy) is facing heavy medical burdens.

Since the loss of our stepmother Barbara in 2021 and then our father, Raymond Barber, Rosnet founder & developer, in 2022, my brother and Sylvia have been together. Andy was housing our mum and she was enjoying her daily activities at the Senior Center. Her dementia diagnosis hasn’t stopped her from living a pretty good life despite.

Sadly, just three months ago we’ve learned that Andy has late stage bladder and now debilitating bone cancer and must seek aggressive treatment and care.

There has been a drastic change in Sylvia’s cognition since learning of her son’s health condition. She now requires full board memory care within assisted living to protect her.

Andy is struggling with the symptoms and I’m trying very hard to navigate his options with him.

Our business in racing has been successful enough to support us for the past 30 or so years. And we are so grateful for our Father’s joy of racing! And for all of his creative efforts to benefit the Sport!

However, with the decline of racing and many more factors: we are simply not well vested and lack the ability to help with personal expenses forthcoming.

I am humbled by this request for financial help. There are no words to express how much I wish the road in life would have led us on a different path and not this new and immense challenge.

These funds would directly to Andy’s excessive out of pocket costs and for his treatments and care.
