She’s the kind of person who champions others, who shows up when people need her the most. Right now, she needs people to pitch in and be her champion.

Summer has faced unimaginable challenges. After enduring years of abuse from her ex-husband, she’s been left with a disability and is now fighting to create a safe and stable life for her child. Despite her efforts, she was recently laid off and is still searching for work. Summer refuses to go back to a life of control and fear, but this courage has come at a devastating cost: she and her child are now on the brink of homelessness.

Summer would never ask for this help herself, but she needs it now more than ever.
