Our beloved Sue Procell Hebert has recently been diagnosed with leukemia and is currently undergoing treatment at Baylor in Dallas. Her doctors have shared that she will need to remain in the hospital for a minimum of 30 days, with a treatment plan extending over the next year.

Sue is facing this battle with incredible courage, and her family is doing everything possible to support her. Her husband, Terry, and her sister, Marilyn, are taking turns staying with her day and night so she is never alone. Because the hospital is four hours away from home, they have secured a nearby hotel where they alternate rest between shifts at the hospital. This allows Sue to always have the care and comfort of her loved ones close by, but it also comes with significant expenses.

The financial strain of long-term lodging, travel, and meals, combined with ongoing medical costs, is overwhelming. That is why this fundraiser has been created—to help ease the burden so Sue and her family can focus on healing and recovery.
