Stand with Steven

Steven Berwick, a 15 year old hockey player from the Seneca Valley School District, was injured in a hockey game on February 2, 2019. Steven took a hit from an opposing player causing him to hit his head on the back middle bar of the net, his neck compressed and he lost feeling in his lower extremities. He suffered a contusion to the spine from the compression. He was taken to two different hospitals that evening and will have to endure the road to recovery with Physical Therapy. No one is certain how long that may take.
Although Steven is in great spirits, he is most upset about leaving his teammates without a goalie! It is just the kind of kid Steven is, thinking of his teammates and others, not himself.
His hockey families are asking to please consider donating to "Stand with Steven" to relieve his family of medical expenses, missed work, home health care, and other needs.
