I’d like to venture a guess that for anyone who’s ever met Steve, it probably took all of 30 seconds to understand his character. I know there'll be agreement when I sum it up in just a few simple words that hold much greater meaning: He’s good people. It seems rare these days to come across a genuine, kind soul with a good heart and Steve is absolutely all of those things. Shortly after he began dating Angelica, it was easy to see what an incredible pair these two made. My friend of many years (yes I’ll admit - starting back in that awkward, ‘angsty-freshman-in-high-school’ year) with the bubbly personality and tremendous heart seemed to become an even greater version of herself with Steve. These guys were pretty much made for each other. Animal lovers to the core, they’re phenomenal dog parents of two of the coolest fur-kids around; Chase is the ultimate stud and Lola’s the sassy little lady who rules the roost. Recently, Steve and Angelica moved into a dog-friendly apartment and are excited to be in their own place. These are incredible people who care deeply for their family, friends and others and they’re quick to lend a helping hand wherever and whenever needed.

Previously Steve was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare type of cancer which usually affects bones or the soft tissue nearby. He subsequently underwent treatment and the cancer went into remission for quite some time. Most recently, a scan revealed cancer yet again, which doctors say is treatable but is likely to return in the future. Please, stand with Steve as he gears up to battle cancer for the second time.

Now more than ever, Steve and Angelica need the support of family and friends to help maintain some sense of normalcy on the tough road ahead.
