Hello, our names are Jean-Claude Abboud and Kui Kapu. We are close family friends of the Harrisons, and we're reaching out to you today with heavy hearts.

As everyone knows, the Harrisons are a truly special family and a cornerstone of our Sammamish community. From actively caring for their neighbors to volunteering their time for others, Steve and Sylvia have touched all our lives in meaningful ways. They are the kind of people who show up when others need them most.

On May 13th, days after Mother's Day, something devastating rocked our friend's lives forever. While Steve and Sylvia were traveling to Eastern Washington, a vehicle crossed into their lane and struck their car head-on. Sylvia tragically passed away at the scene. Steve was rushed to the Emergency Department and then airlifted to Harborview, where doctors worked through the night to save his life.

After a week in the ICU, Steve has awakened and begun what will be a long, difficult recovery. Now it's our turn to show up for this family that has given so much to all of us.

We're calling on friends, family, and our entire community to rally around Steve and the Harrison family during this unimaginably difficult time. They have been there for us when we needed them most so let's be there for them now.
