We are reaching out to you during one of the most challenging times in our lives. My husband, Stephen, has been diagnosed with End Stage Renal Failure and is in desperate need of a kidney transplant. This situation has turned our lives upside down, and we are seeking your support to help our family through this difficult journey.

Stephen is not just my partner; he is a devoted father, a loving son, brother, and a cherished friend to many. Over the years, he has touched countless lives with his kindness, humor, and unwavering support for those around him. Unfortunately, his health has deteriorated rapidly, and without a transplant, his condition will only worsen.

As we navigate this medical crisis, the financial burden is overwhelming. The costs associated with the transplant—medical bills, medication, and recovery—are substantial. We anticipate expenses reaching tens of thousands of dollars, and while we have insurance, it doesn't cover everything. All financial assistance will be used toward the following expenses:

• Immunosuppressant medication needed for the rest of Stephen’s life

• Transportation: flights, car travel, etc., for transplant and subsequent postoperative visits

• Lodging: Pre and post-transplant visits in Minnesota

• Unforeseen post-transplant care

• Dialysis fees (if needed): co-payments, machine costs, etc.
