Stand with Stephanie & Joey Through Cancer and IVF
Donation protected
Stephanie & Joey became husband & wife in November of 2022 surrounded by their loved ones. For over a year they have been trying to conceive and expand their family. In March they started undergoing fertility testing, which led to discouraging news.
In April, Stephanie received a call from her doctor that her routine mammogram came back abnormal and they wanted her to get a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound done right away. After the ultrasound the radiologist said “we found a mass that looks like cancer and we want to biopsy it.” This was very concerning to Stephanie and Joey as Stephanie is only 39 and trying to start a family. Stephanie received the results 5 days later & they sadly told her she had breast cancer. Luckily it was caught early and the prognosis is positive but the journey will be long and difficult.
This diagnosis has forced Stephanie and Joey to make the decision to go through IVF down the road in order to conceive after chemo and other treatments needed. All of this has been such a shock to this newlywed couple and a huge financial shock as well.
As Steph's matron of honor, I wanted to set up some help to help alleviate some of the financial burden of this all. I know every little bit will be much appreciated.
Stephanie and Joey are grateful for the immense love and support they have already received from their family and friends. It will certainly help them get through what’s to come.
