Stand with Stacey and Tom Today

I created this fundraiser to help cover medical expenses for my friend Stacey Crutchfield, the wife of my friend Tom Crutchfield. (Many people in the reptile world may be familiar with them.) Stacey is one of the most upbeat, spunky, and intelligent people I’ve had the pleasure to call a friend. She and Tom both have given so much to the community, and now it’s our turn to help them out.

Stacey suffered a massive asthma attack last Friday and has remained hospitalized since then. She was also diagnosed with pneumonia, and thus far, it has not responded to antibiotics. I’m hoping to update with better info on that soon as it was recently changed. She is in the ICU in a medically induced coma. All of this as she and Tom are in the middle of the moving process as they were forced to sell the farm due to some other issues. To say this is a difficult time for them as a family is an incredible understatement. Stacey is fighting to come back to us, and Tom is now faced with this impending move while the love of his life and best friend is in the ICU as those bills are mounting. Please keep them on your hearts and minds and in your prayers. And please donate anything you can to help alleviate some of the financial stress. Tom is not one to ask for money, so as I told him, this isn’t him asking, this is me asking on their behalf. They’ve done so much for so many, so let’s step up and give back in this time of need.
