Stand with Stacey: Aid His Family While He Recovers!

Hello.... My name is Cindy Kay Dancy. I have created this Go Fund Me for my brother in law and fellow musician, Stacey Leazer. Stacey is very well-known in the Charlotte area as an accomplished bass player. He's played with many bands, made many friends along the way, and helped many fans have a good time enjoying the music created by he and his bandmates throughout the years.

Stacey enjoyed Mother's Day with us, celebrating with his wife, Ashleigh, his son, Luke, Stacey's mother and the rest of the family. By the end of the day he wasn't feeling his best. 2 days later he was in the emergency room and then transported to CMC ICU. Lots of tests, scans, scopes and over 3 weeks later, he has now been transported to CMC Main Special Patient Care. He was diagnosed with infections in his pancreas, abdomen and blood. He is just now beginning to eat some solid foods , but is still bring assisted intravenously. He has other medical assistance, helping his body function properly. Doctors have given a probable 3 more weeks before he gets released. He has only been able to stand up a hand full of times so far. Meaning he will need to go straight to rehab to regain his strength and walk. But he is determined to get back to his family and back on stage!

Ashleigh is a paralegal and relied on Stacey to help with their monthly bills.

This fundraiser is aimed at helping Ashleigh and Luke handle the bills that Stacey was previously able to cover with his stage gigs and guitar tech income while he makes his comeback!
