Stand with Sophia: Hand Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On April 19th, seventeen year-old Sophia Magalyuk was in an accident at the sand dunes. They were riding a side-by-side with some friends, it flipped and the bar tragically crushed her right hand. She broke 3 fingers as well as injured veins, tendons and extensive bruising through out the hand. Since then she has had 2 lengthy surgeries in which the doctors worked under a microscope, grafting veins from her legs, attempting their very best to restore full function to all fingers.
In the current state, 2 fingers are still not receiving proper blood flow. The hospital staff had at first planned to amputate these fingers but we serve a wonder-working God and thanks to a second doctor’s opinion they have decided to wait and give it more time.
Please stand in faith and support with the Magalyuk family as they go on this long and painful road to a miraculous recovery as the conventional doctors have nothing more they can do. They will be leaving the hospital and will be seeking many experimental treatments, all across the country and potentially internationally. Losing function of a hand would be an absolute tragedy and Sophia’s parents are ready to move mountains to see her hand restored.
These treatments will be incredibly expensive and are not covered by insurance. This is why we are reaching out to the body of Christ to help support this family as they do everything they can for their sweet Sophia.
We thank you to everyone for the immense support we have received. In the form of prayers, kind words, visits, food, flowers, sharing our story through social media, and finally your financial support. May God return to you 100-fold for every seed that is sown.
