Hello, my name is Silas Dodd.

I am creating this GoFundMe in hopes of raising enough money for my family who were involved in a head-on collision to help cover their living expenses and any medical expenses.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on June 30, 2024, on Route 24, near Wayward Hill Road, 5 of my family members were involved in a head-on collision. My 43-year-old father, 31-year-old stepmom, 15-year-old sister, and my two younger brothers were traveling westbound on Route 24 when their Dodge 1500 hydroplaned and crossed the median and struck another vehicle head-on. My father has a broken femur and fractured ribs and he will not be able to work for around 6-8 months. My stepmom has a dislocated shoulder and a broken collarbone, and my sister has a head injury along with a laceration above her left eye. Therefore, my father who is the primary caregiver for his fiancé and my 3 younger siblings will not be able to keep up with all of the living and medical expenses for our family. With that being said, we would really appreciate any donations, and if you can't donate please take a second and share this GoFundMe as much as you can. Please send positive vibes and prayers our way while we go through this difficult time. For anyone that knows my father knows how hard he worked to be where he is now and would not have to make a GoFundMe unless he truly needed it.
