Hey y’all, most of you already know what’s going down, but it needs to be said loud and clear.
Shirk and Joabi, who have poured their hearts, sweat, and every ounce of energy into starting their own bar, have been fired, locked out and frozen out of the bar they founded, owned, and operated. Now they are being sued.
They started with heart, hustle, and hard work, not big money. They turned to private investors to get the doors open and now those same investors have kicked them out, and are trying to take it all.
The investors filed this bogus lawsuit - filled with false statements and lies - as a fear tactic geared to get them to spend money or give up, knowing full well Shirk and Joabi can’t afford a long legal fight. Their whole strategy? Bleed them dry until they just give up.
But that’s not happening, not if we’ve got anything to say about it and it’s our turn to have their backs.
Every donation, no matter the size, ensures they can stand their ground and continue to afford to defend themselves during what is sure to be a costly and lengthy battle. Afterall, they are just two broke bartenders trying to defend themselves!
