Stand with Sherrie in Her Fight Against Cancer

** Update** The Insurance was approved the procedure (Thank God) and the remaining deductible for 2024 is 2,900.00 and the deductible for 2025 is 5,000.00.

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts as my beloved wife, Ms. Sherrie, the first lady of our Church - Elevating Life Church, and dearest friend, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM), a devastating form of brain cancer. This distressing news has not only taken an emotional toll on our church, family, and community but has also resulted in a significant financial burden in many aspects of our reality. Understanding God's provision, we are reaching out for practical support to go along with your prayers.

The expenses related to Sherrie's medical care, such as chemotherapy, radiation, and OPTUNE, have significantly affected our finances, despite having medical insurance from my retirement from the Air Force. In addition, her inability to work because of her condition has led to a reduction in income, making our financial situation even more challenging.

In light of these challenges, our community, including Elevating Life Church in Fort Morgan, CO, as well as our family and friends from around the world, have joined forces to launch this fundraising campaign. We kindly ask for your support to help ease the financial burden associated with battling this aggressive form of cancer. At the same time, we aim to continue our ministry at our beloved church, which has limited means to supplement more than they already do – for which we are immensely grateful and thankful.

Currently, we are experiencing a monthly shortfall of approximately $5,000 in our personal budget to cover necessary medical expenses and daily living costs. Considering the nature of the prognosis, we anticipate the need for sustained support. Any form of assistance, whether big or small, would be immensely valuable and greatly appreciated by everyone who is supporting Sherrie and me during this campaign. It's truly humbling.
