Stand with Shawn on His Road to Recovery

We are setting up this go fund me for people who can not attend the benefit but would still like to support Shawn Leatherbarrow on his road to recovery. (All money raised will go towards any medical bills.)

Hi everyone thank you for taking the time out of your day to read a little bit about what is going with Shawn Leatherbarrow. My name is Kayla, I am Shawn's oldest daughter. Shawn is a father of 4 daughters, and one fur baby(Lola) myself Kayla, Jessica, Macquel, and Makenna. He also has two granddaughters. He is a loving brother, and a dedicated son. He is the type of friend that you know will always have your back. Our dad has done a lot for us 4 his entire life, and now its our turn to try and help the transition to his new life as easy as possible.

As many you have heard, our dad had a hemorrhagic stroke January 29th which resulted in him having emergency brain surgery. After his first surgery he spent many weeks in the Trauma ICU at ECMC and underwent many more surgery's and procedures. Which resulted in him staying at the hospital longer then anyone thought. As of April 2024 he is still in ECMC with surgery number 6 coming up, then rehab. He still has a long road to recovery but we know if anyone can overcome this, it's him. #StongLikeShawn!
