Help Sha’terri Knight Recover After Being Intentionally Struck by a Car
On April 5th, Sha’Terri Knight experienced something no one should ever endure — she was intentionally hit by a car while walking and slammed into a garage. The driver fled the scene and is still at large. This horrific act left her with life-threatening injuries: a shattered pelvis, severe damage to her bladder, and multiple fractures in her right leg.
She has already undergone multiple surgeries, including bladder reconstruction, pelvic reconstruction with screws and plates, and rods inserted through her femur and tibia. She is now non-weight-bearing for 12 weeks — completely bedridden, unable to walk, and enduring constant pain and numbness in her leg.
Despite everything, her faith remains strong. “[Quote: Like I said, no weapon formed against me shall prosper.]” But right now, she urgently needs our help.
Why We’re Raising $8,000:
- Medical expenses and follow-up care
- Physical therapy and equipment
- Rent, utilities, and basic living expenses while she cannot work
- Transportation to appointments once she is mobile again
No donation is too small — and even sharing this page could lead to the support she needs. Please help us rally around Sha'terri Knight during this long road to healing.
If you have any information related to the incident, please contact the Coppell Police Department's non-emergency line.
Thank you for your support, prayers, and generosity.
