Stand with Shahpoor (Sam) and Melissa

Hi I am Cynthia Contreras, Shahpoor’s niece. I am starting this to raise funds for Shahpoor and Melissa to help them with expenses through this difficult time. Shahpoor became ill with the flu, which caused inflammation in his heart. The inflammation caused his heart to be too weak to pump effectively on its own. On January 9th, he was placed on respiratory and cardiac life support, and transported out of his hometown for a higher level of care. Since then, his family has been traveling back and forth between Roseville and Santa Clara and staying overnight as often as possible. The funds raised here will go to paying their bills, food and lodging while Melissa and their family stay in Santa Clara and while they are out of work during this time.
