Stand with September: Cancer Recovery

My name is Tanner, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my sister, September, who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is not just my sister—she’s my best friend, and the kind of person who lights up every room she walks into. Now, she’s facing the biggest fight of her life.

After a whirlwind of doctor appointments, tests, and emotional conversations, she is preparing to undergo a mastectomy followed by breast reconstruction surgery. While her medical insurance covers part of the treatment, many essential aspects—such as the reconstruction process, post-surgical care, time away from work, and emotional therapy—are either only partially covered or not covered at all.
