Help Us Save Sealy
Sealy has been a cherished part of Brianna’s life for over seven years. She came from a reputable Italian Greyhound breeder, and Brianna still tells the story of how she burst into tears the moment she first saw her—Sealy was meant to be hers. They’ve shared so many adventures, from hikes where Sealy would fearlessly scale hillsides to quiet moments snuggled in a sunbeam. She’s always been a sweet, gentle soul who brings warmth and love to everyone she meets.
I met Sealy about four years ago, and it didn’t take long for her to steal my heart too. Though she’s slowed down a bit after losing most of her teeth, she’s still full of love and life. She adores being held and will happily curl up in your arms once she trusts you. She’s incredibly well-behaved but timid with new people, preferring gentle movements and quiet voices. She has a way of making people feel special, and it’s impossible not to fall in love with her.
But now, Sealy is struggling. She has been dealing with appetite loss, weight loss, and vomiting, and despite extensive testing—including bloodwork, X-rays, an ultrasound, and multiple medications—we still don’t have clear answers. A recent test revealed abnormal lymphocytes, which could indicate severe inflammation or lymphoma. Further testing is needed to determine what’s truly happening and how we can help her.
We’ve already spent thousands trying to find answers while watching her slowly wither away before our eyes. I recently had to start over after my company went bankrupt, and Brianna’s craft business has slowed significantly. We’ve pulled from savings and my 401k to afford her care, but the expenses are piling up, and we’re running out of options. We want to do everything possible to help Sealy, but we can’t afford more testing and treatment alone.
Sealy is more than just a pet—she’s family. She has brought so much love and joy into our lives, and we refuse to give up on her. Any support, whether through donations or simply sharing this campaign, means the world to us. Thank you for helping us fight for Sealy’s health and happiness.
