My name is Scotty. On June 8th, 2025, my spouse and I were in downtown Los Angeles peacefully protesting ICE raids in downtown LA.

About 6:30 PM, the line of LAPD officers with mounted horse police officers, who had been blocking a freeway overpass, started moving quickly. My wife and I were beaten, and then Los Angeles brought false felony charges against me. In California, one cannot file a civil suit if the condemned pleads to a lesser charge (which I’m sure they’d like). Please help me fight this ludicrous system, in which my life swings in the balance.
