Stand with Scott as he fights pancreatic cancer!
Hello! We fundraising for our dad/ step-dad of 30 years. His name is Scott, he is 61 years young. He and my mom (Terri) raised 8 kids together, have 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren!
On June 11th, 2021, Scott was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. The prognosis devastated the family. His provider said that without chemotherapy, he wouldn’t make it through the summer, but with chemotherapy he may make it 15-18 months. He is choosing to live as long as possible. With that, he has been pursuing a vigorous chemotherapy regimen. 6 cycles of treatment (3 weeks of treatment and one week off = 1 cycle), repeat. He just started his second cycle. We are so grateful his body has been tolerating the chemotherapy, and will treasure each day we have with him here on earth.
The reason we are raising funds is to help cover medical costs and living expenses for lost wages during this time. The funds will positively impact my mom and Scott by alleviating financial burden they face as they battle his cancer.
