Stand with Savannah: Legal Help Needed

Hello, my name is Mandy Dooley (Faulkner). I am starting this GoFundMe in support of my niece, Savannah Faulkner. Our family experienced a tragic loss in January of 2025 when we found out my sister Nikki was no longer with us. As a family, we have worked tirelessly to find answers, track down details, while still grieving her loss. Below you will find Savannah's personal message:

Hi, my name is Savannah and I never imagined I’d be in this position.

In January, I lost my mom — my only parent, my biggest support, and my best friend. Her passing has left a hole in my heart that can never be filled, and now I’m faced with an unexpected legal battle just to hold onto the things she left behind for me.

Since her passing, I’ve been trying to access the belongings, memories, and any financial support my mom wanted me to have. Unfortunately, my stepfather has not only refused to give me access to her things, but he has also spent the money that was left to me from my grandmother. I’ve been left with nothing — emotionally and financially.

I’m now having to hire a probate attorney just to fight for my right to what should already be mine. The legal costs are overwhelming, and I’m struggling to cover them on my own.

This is not easy to ask, but if you can help — even a little — it would mean the world to me. Every dollar will go toward legal fees and helping me recover what my mom wanted me to have. If you can’t donate, sharing this with others would also be a huge help.
