I’m writing this as Sarah’s sister, and honestly, this is not something she would ever ask for herself.

If you know Sarah, you know she’s strong, determined, and fiercely resilient. Just weeks ago, she was feeling the best she’s ever felt. Life was full and joyful. She and her fiancé, Logan, were counting down the weeks to their wedding on January 17th, excited to finally step into the next chapter they had been planning.

Then, completely out of nowhere, everything changed.

Sarah was diagnosed with aggressive B-cell lymphoma. There’s never a “right time” for cancer, but receiving this diagnosis during what should be one of the happiest seasons of her life has been especially challenging. Almost overnight, priorities shifted from finalizing wedding details to urgent medical decisions — including rushing to preserve fertility before beginning treatment, with the hope of protecting the future they’ve dreamed of together.

As an emergency room nurse for over 10 years, Sarah has shown up for people on their hardest days, offering care, calm, and compassion when they needed it most. Now, she’s facing one of her own.

Sarah is approaching this diagnosis with courage, transparency, and an unwavering belief that she will get through this — stronger than before. However, because of the intensity of treatment, she is unable to work during this time. Between medical care, fertility preservation, treatment-related costs, and everyday living expenses, the financial impact has been significant and ongoing.

This page is not about asking out of desperation. It’s about allowing space for community — and giving Sarah the ability to focus fully on what matters most right now: healing, resting, and fighting like hell.
