Stand with Sarah: Support Her Health Journey

Sarah is absolutely blown away and overwhelmed by the generosity you all have shown! She has asked me to thank each and every one of you for your support. What an INCREDIBLY successful fundraiser on her behalf, far surpassing our goal, TWICE. So much gratitude again to all of you for showing up for Sarah with the same generosity she does with us and our families.

Rather than continuing to raise the goal, I invite any and all of you to simply continue donating if you feel called to do so. Sarah has some important test results that come back next week that will determine what treatment (and expenses) will look like moving forward.

Hello, friends!

I'm here to make the request that we come together as a community to support one of our own - Sarah Bomar. We all know her, we all appreciate her, and we are all aware of everything she does all day every day for us and for our children. Not only does she do all the things, but with a smile and genuinely kind heart every. single. time.

So now, she needs us. Please know that she did not ask me for this. In fact, she was quite hesitant to even allow me to present this to you on her behalf. However, the fact is that she has been up against some medical challenges for some time now that are enough to make all of us stop and remember to be grateful. Out of respect for her privacy I will not go into detail about what she's facing, but please know that if it was not substantial I would not be asking for your support. As the bills continue to pile up, let's help relieve her stress about the finances so she can focus on doing what she needs to do to have a healthy future.

Additionally, I kindly request that you do not ask her, or others in the administration about this, particularly while at school. This is not a BPE or EANES ISD affiliated fundraiser. This is simply human to human.

When the fundraiser is complete I will share with Sarah all of the information about who donated (you can always opt to donate anonymously if you prefer) so she can see how strong and amazing her village is!
