Please join me in support of our friend, Tucson community member, and single mother Sarah Coffey. During the night, a car parked next to hers was set fire by a neighbor in their apartment complex. The criminal arson resulted in trauma to Sarah and her daughter, irrepairable damage to Sarah’s car, loss of valuables inside the car, smoke inhalation, missed sleep, missed work, court appearances, and ongoing stress. Sarah's car was issued “full-coverage” however, unbeknownst to her, that did not include gap insurance. Nor is she able to claim any loss of valuables without photo-documentation of each item, proving they were in the vehicle at the time of the incident (how would anyone have that?!). We are asking for your help to alleviate the financial strain this has caused to Sarah and her daughter, and we appreciate your donation of any amount. Mother’s do not want to ask for help, and yet sometimes we need it. As a community, we now get to uplift her and to create something beautiful out of the chaos and ashes.
