With heavy hearts, we share that Sarah passed peacefully just after midnight last night, surrounded by love and prayer. She fought with extraordinary faith, courage, and grace until the very end. All proceeds from this fundraiser will now go directly toward supporting Chase’s care and future, as well as helping her family during this difficult time. Thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support — it means more than words.

Update (October 2025) Sarah’s condition has taken a difficult turn. She has been in the hospital for several weeks and will now be moving into palliative care. Her body has grown too weak to continue treatment, but she continues to fight with the same courage, faith, and grace that have defined her journey from the start. At this stage, our focus is on keeping Sarah comfortable and ensuring that her son, Chase, and her family are supported through this unimaginable time. Funds will now go toward helping with Chase’s ongoing care, household and living expenses, and support for Sarah’s family as they walk through this transition together. Please continue to pray for Sarah and Chase, and for everyone surrounding them. Your love and generosity have meant more than words can ever express. 

Our beautiful friend Sarah is in the fight of her life. At just 46 years old, this loving and selfless mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and it’s become aggressive. Doctors believe it’s Stage 3, as it has spread to her lymph nodes, and more testing is underway to see if it has progressed further.

Sarah is the sole parent to her 7 year old son, Chase, he is her best friend and her whole world. The two are inseparable. They love going on playdates, watching movies, playing board games, and spending time at church. Their Christian faith is the anchor in their lives, bringing strength and joy through even the hardest moments.

From the moment she found out she was pregnant, Sarah knew she’d be raising Chase alone. He was born without a father, and for the past seven years, she’s been his everything: his provider, protector, and unwavering source of love.

And now, she’s carrying a second battle.

After further testing, Sarah learned that her cancer is unlikely to respond to chemotherapy. She’s been advised that her best chance at survival lies in advanced alternative treatments like IV infusions, ozone therapy, local hyperthermia, immunotherapy, and state-of-the-art testing, none of which are covered by insurance.

And Sarah has everything to live for.

Sarah continues to work as a realtor in the GTA, but once treatment starts, she may need to slow down or stop altogether. As the sole provider, that’s terrifying.

Those who know Sarah know she’s the one who always shows up. The friend who moves mountains. The mom who gives everything.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
