Stand with Sara: Bring Tarek Home

Your support has been received by Sara and is truly appreciated- uplifting the family’s spirits and paying for their legal fees and living expenses during this difficult time. The family is hopeful for a quick resolution. As of Tuesday July 8th 2025, Tarek is in the Adelanto Detention center. He now has a bed and the food situation is a bit better. On July 1st 2025, my dear friend Sara’s husband Tarek was illegally abducted by ICE. Their family has legal status here in the United States while they await their court hearing in the upcoming year. Tarek’s family and friends are devastated by his wrongful abduction and are worried for his health and safety. Thankfully, he has been allowed to contact his family but the situation he described being kept in at the detention center is abominable. He is only being given sips of water and very little food. The detainees are kept underground so they do not know what time of day or night it is. Tarek is also in a full formal suit from work as they have not allowed a change of clothing.

Tarek and Sara are incredibly kind and generous people, sharing their joy of life and sense of community with everyone they meet. Please help me support and uplift their family during this dire time of need. The last thing they should have to worry about right now is money while Tarek is unjustly imprisoned and unable to work to provide for his family. Please help support them while Sara navigates the complex legal processes to free Tarek, all while caring for their three young children who miss their father desperately.
