Sandie Bryant, renowned square dance caller, has always been the kind of person others can count on. If you need help, Sandie is someone who will do everything she can to be there for you.

About a week ago, Sandie suffered a brain hemorrhage and was admitted to an Intensive Care Unit in Erlangen, Germany. She has been in the ICU for one week and is currently in an induced coma while receiving critical medical care. The doctors are now planning to begin gradually reducing her sedation, pulling her out of the induced coma, but we know there is still a long road ahead.

Our small but very close family has come together immediately to be by her side and make the best decisions possible for her care. Unfortunately, insurance is not providing direct coverage for her treatment in Germany and we are facing substantial medical expenses. We have already incurred €15,000 in medical expenses, and those costs will continue as her ICU care progresses.

We are asking for help with Sandie's ICU care costs, in-country family support and ongoing recovery and rehabilitation expenses.
