Help Bring Sam Home
For the past 40 years, Sam Virachak has been part of our community.
Sam came to the United States as a refugee through a legal inspection and asylum process, with the help of a church that sponsored and guided him. He has lived here peacefully for decades — raising a life, building relationships, and becoming the kind of person everyone knows they can count on.
On November 1, Sam missed one immigration appointment.
We fully understand that missing an appointment is serious — and we’re not denying that mistake.
But two days ago, ICE arrested Sam.
He has now been transported to an ICE detention center in Aurora, Colorado, far from the community he has called home for most of his life.
Why This Matters
Sam isn’t just a name on paperwork.
He’s the guy who:
• Plays with our kids
• Shows up with food when someone’s struggling
• Helps without being asked
• Is there when people need him most
He has given his time, energy, and heart to this community for decades.
Now he needs us.
How the Funds Will Be Used
All donations will go toward:
• Immigration attorney & legal defense
• Bond and court-related costs
• Transportation and support while detained
• Immediate living expenses once released
Every dollar raised helps Sam fight his case and gives him a real chance to come home.
