Stand with Sam Barnett's Family in Their Time of Need

I am the aunt of the homeowner, Sam Barnett, and I'm creating this GoFundMe to raise money for a multitude of reasons.

On Sunday morning, Sam, Sierra, and their two toddlers were home from church and putting away groceries when their baby girl realized there was an intruder on their porch actively trying to gain entry into the home. They defended their family, and it tragically ended with a fatality of the would-be burglar.

Their front storm door had to be removed, and the porch needs to be redone. Sam, his wife, and their two young girls will need ongoing counseling after experiencing such a traumatic event. They feel unsafe in their family home purchased in July 2023, plagued with bad memories and fear for all four of them now. They plan to sell the house and live with family, with a large mortgage deficit still owed. We hope the funds raised here will offset the amount owed a bit.

The last reason is for legal fees, time off work, and any other unforeseen costs. Their family has no idea what to expect; they have never dealt with the legal system or lawyer fees. Help support the 2nd Amendment and stand your ground laws in Indiana!
