Our best friend and brother Samuel Martinez was recently detained by Border Patrol in South Florida during a random stop near Deerfield Beach. Samuel is only 20 years old and has been living in the United States for several years. He currently has a pending asylum case that has been active for about four years. During this time, he has been following the legal process and patiently waiting for his case to move forward.

Beyond that, he has been an important part of our church community. He faithfully serves on the worship team and leads worship for the youth ministry, pouring his time and heart into encouraging and mentoring young students in their faith.

We are currently trying to figure out what his next steps are. These situations usually lead to unexpected legal expenses, including attorney fees, immigration bond, and other costs associated with navigating this legal process.

We are starting this fundraiser to help support him and his family during this difficult time and to make sure he has the resources needed to defend his case and move forward. Our hope is to relieve some of the financial pressure so he can focus on what matters most his future and the life he has been building here.

Samuel tiene solamente 20 años, y ha estado viviendo en los Estados Unidos durante varios años y tiene un caso de asilo pendiente que ha estado activo por aproximadamente cuatro años.
